Anna Líndal, Bjarki Bragason and Hildigunnur Birgisdóttir have collaborated on the project Branch collection (Greinasafn) since October 2007. Prior to the show, they explored the process of collecting and cataloguing. The show is divided in several branches, each branch examining its relationship with its local and distant environment, discoursing with the collections at the Folk Art Museum, and pondering the act of collection inherent to visual art, as well as the process by which transferal, transposal and flow are created and stimulate creation.
